Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has declared that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will form the government in all three northeastern states of Assam, Manipur and Tripura.
Speaking at a press conference in Guwahati on Tuesday, Sarma said that the BJP-led NDA will form the government in all three states without the need for a hung assembly.
“We are confident that the BJP-led NDA will form the government in all three states without the need for a hung assembly. We are confident that the people of the three states have reposed their faith in the BJP-led NDA and we will form the government in all three states,” Sarma said.
The BJP-led NDA is currently in power in Assam and Manipur, while the Left Front is in power in Tripura.
Sarma said that the BJP-led NDA has been able to win the trust of the people of the three states by providing good governance and development.
“We have been able to win the trust of the people of the three states by providing good governance and development. We have been able to bring about a positive change in the lives of the people of the three states,” he said.
He added that the BJP-led NDA has been able to bring about a positive change in the lives of the people of the three states by providing them with better infrastructure, better healthcare, better education and better employment opportunities.
